Last time we went to Kauai (in 2021), we were unable to book into our timeshare resort (because with travel opening up, EVERYONE was wanting to go somewhere). This time we were able to book into our resort, so it will be nice to be staying there again after 5 years.
This time there was no testing involved going to Hawaii or coming back, so we didn’t have to deal with that hassle. Randy’s parents (Harold and Lil) were also going to be there for their annual trip, staying right across the road from us. So, there will likely be a few happy hours watching the sunset together. We were also looking forward to meeting up again with our friends Pat and Mike (who live on Kauai).
