Welcome to Janet and Randy's French River Cruise 2026
This year was the 60th wedding anniversary of Randy's parents (Harold and Lil). They wanted to do something special for their anniversary, so we thought that a river cruise might be a great way to celebrate it. They wanted to be on the cruise on their actual anniversary day, so I looked into what options were available in April. After looking at a few options, we decided on the Spectacular South of France itinerary with Scenic Cruises.
This 11-day cruise started and ended in Lyon. We arranged our flights so that we would have 2 days before the cruise and 2 days afterwards. We always like to have a buffer in case anything goes wrong with any travel arrangements.
As in the past, this Journal is primarily Janet's creation with the exceptional of the odd comment thrown in by Randy highlighted like this - just to keep Janet honest.
