Janet and Randy - Kauai 2021

Welcome to Janet and Randy's Kauai 2021 Adventures

This is our first trip outside of Canada since COVID. The last time we travelled internationally was when we went to Australia, New Zealand and French Polynesia in December of 2019.

Normally when we go to Kauai, we stay at our timeshare resort. However, due to pent-up demand of people wanting to travel, we were not able to get into our timeshare resort. So, instead we rented some accommodation. Again, due to high availability, we had to stay a few nights at a place in Lihue, and then the rest of the vacation at a condo in Poipu (which we were sharing with our neighbours James and Judith). Randy's parents were on the island at the same time as well - so we were looking forward to some fun time in the sun with family and friends.

We've done more than a couple of trips to Kauai over the past years, and we absolutely love the island and the culture. It will be James' and Judith's first time to Kauai, so hopefully they enjoy it as much as we do!

As in the past, the Journal is primarily Janet's creation with the exceptional comment thrown in by Randy highlighted like this - just to keep Janet honest.
